Ricky Johnson Race Series Rumor Confirmed
Since the very successful race that Ricky Johnson hosted at the Perris Auto Speedway on November 8th there have been rumors of a series coming in 2009. We have finally been able to confirm those rumors: There will be a 3 round Ricky Johnson Offroad Grand Prix. All of the information that we have is listed below. As soon as we get more we will let you know!
2009 Offroad Grand Prix Schedule:
* February 27-28 (Sportsman 27th, Pro 28th)
Manzanita Speedway- Phoenix, AZ
* March 20-21 (Sportsman 20th, Pro 21st)
Perris Auto Speedway- Perris, CA
* October 30-31 (Sportsman 30th, Pro 31st)
Las Vegas Motor Speedway- Las Vegas, NV
***Offroad GP Banquet will be held Sunday November 1.

* SPEED Channel will be airing 3 one hour shows. The plan is to air the episodes three weeks in a row so as to hook the viewer and create a following.

* Terrible Herbst will be the host hotel and marketing partner in coordination with their gas stations.
* USAC will be our sanctioning body (www.usacracing.com) We will also be working closely with SEMA for the last round of racing.
