Best in the Desert Terribles’ Grand Prix

We’re out here this weekend in Primm, NV at the Best in the Desert Terribles’ Grand Prix.  This is a short race in the world of desert racing as the race will be eight laps of eight miles for a total of 64 miles.  The UTV’s finished practice about an hour ago and will start the actuall race at approx 2:15.  This is the 6th of 7 rounds for the season and there is a fierce battle at the top with only 15 points seperating the top three cars.

The practice round went fairly well for most teams as they got an oportunity to see the track.  It was a good thing to see the course as there will be a lot of dust and it is a very tight technical track as well.  The only highlight of practice was that the 1948 team of Bi- Polar racing lost an axle nut on their Arctic Cat Prowler.

Stay tuned as we will update the site again after the race is over.  For now, enjoy some photos of the practice sesion.
